Our Human Resources journey has provided opportunities for hands on leadership experience in every HR function including over seven years of experience at the State Farm Corporate office, building an applicant tracking system for Hewitt Associates, and serving in HR leadership roles at three private mid-market companies, and a public school district. 
 

A few of our recent primary accomplishments include:

  • Championed Performance Matters Initiative (Professional Development, On-boarding, Succession Planning, Skills Inventory, Mentoring, etc.)
  • Enhanced the employee selection process to include job suitability assessments
  • Established an Internal Equity Initiative
  • Created a Leadership Development Program, “Dynamics of Effective Leadership” including: Emotional Intelligence 2.0, iDISC, Leadership 2.0, and Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
  • Personally made job offers to approximately 235 employees between 2014 and 2016
  • Reduced turnover by 50% from 24% to 12% for managers and 6% to 3% for certified union members
